Ontario stumbled upon the prestigious "Wideman Prize" awarded in Vancouver upon reintroduction to Max Wideman. A spark of inspiration ignited - why not launch a Project Management Competition dedicated to the Youth of Ontario?
With immense gratitude, we were warmly hosted in Richmond Hill, where the initial Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) took shape, thanks to the collaboration of Audrey and Max Wideman.

A historic moment! The Ontario Project Management Competition (OPMC) was officially founded. The dream was now a reality.

Against all odds, we miraculously hosted the inaugural Competition just 58 days later. This feat was made possible by the unwavering support of Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) and MacGregor Communications. It was a testament to the kindness of our judges, sponsors, and volunteers who made it all happen.
